Um, Erin remembered the last name on Hambrick, thank you! I almost put Old Kleb/Klein Annex, but didn't - oh well. I think Dustin gets bonus points for knowing the exact addresses of our old houses. I must confess that although I had Rumsey written for #3 and #8, Dustin's confirmed it for me. And, I didn't cheat on the others! I copied and pasted it all into a word document that I stared at for days! Doug kept asking me if I was done with my game yet - seriously, I stayed up late every night trying to finish this thing! The Kleinwood pool was hard - it wasn't until I realized that it had no real windows that I knew what it was. Tricky, mom! Either way, I don't have to pay up, so whoever wins is fine with me as long as it doesn't involve MY money!
Was #1 diagonal from our Delachase house? That was my first guess, but I couldn't figure out what significance that would have to any of us. I still don't remember a chihuahua.
Who is Quincey? I have no memory of this.
Quincy is the little dog that kept showing up at our house, digging under the fence and was madly in love (physically speaking-if you know what I mean) with poor Sam. We would come home and find him in our house playing with Sam and Bonnie, having peed everywhere. I kept taking him home and putting bricks around their fence so he would stay there, but nothing worked. There were many days I just gave up and he spent the day on my lap until his "Mom" returned from work. She was always mad and acted like I had kidnapped him. I can't believe none of you remember Quincy. His house was next door to the Hill's, across from Katie.
Erin, you win, and since I'm not sure Emily will be taking you to dinner anytime soon, I'll see if I can't get a box of whole wheat macaroni and cheese (we discovered this exists in Houston)and a VHS tape of Gone With the Wind ready to bring on my next visit. Enjoy!
Well, I guess I did recognize the house. Someone bought it after that and they were members of our ward and their last name started with W I think. I think their son's name was Alex or something.
I feel like such a big winner! VHS! Wow!
Westwood?
Wow Erin--I never would have thought of Westwood, or that they were in our ward. You deserve a personal sized package of Oreos for dessert after your dinner! I am so impressed. That house will always just belong to Quincy, in my mind I guess. (You really still don't remember him? None of you?)
I remember Quincy, he was the gay chihuahua that snuck under the fence to "have fun with" Sam. I want half of Erin's Oreos since I had Condie and Rumsey. I am still not sure about Quincy's so I am going to drive by and double check you on that one.
