Our Baby Grew Up

Yes, it had to happen sometime, and it was way too soon. Emily and Jared Hurtado, with 2 year old Halle, live in Lehi. Rameses, the mini-horse disguised as a Greyhound outweights the 3 of them.

Halle is a shy little sweetheart that warms up fairly quickly, and loves to jump on the trampoline. To see more, visit http://hurtadoblog.blogspot.com/

Missing the Boehmes

On June 30, 2008 our sweet 3 grandsons and grandpuppies were taken from our midst to a far off land of snow, moose, and mosquitos. They see Kenai, Alaska as their big adventure--I see it as kidnapping and abandonment. The motorcycle sits idle in the shed, the crib is silent, and the slide is no longer slippery (if you know what I mean). What WILL we do with all these Fisher Price catalogs?

Brenden starts kindergarten in August 2008, and he already reads like a first grader. We're told he is busy at work in his new woodsy home of Alaska. Nolan is 2, loveable and easy-going. The little blue-eyed, fair-haired kid will make lots of friends and win everyones hearts if the mosquitos are kind enough to leave him any blood. Rumor has it he's the tastiest full-meal-deal in town.

And then there's our little Ethan. We didn't have much of a chance to get to know the little darling before he was whisked away, but he takes darn cute pictures!
Newman the Basset is the newest addition. He gives Cosmo a run for alpha dog. The more boys, the merrier. See their full store at http://www.boehmeblog.blogspot.com/

The Other (much younger) Kline Family

Dustin and Paulette live in Tomball, Texas with our 3 handsome grandsons. Dylan is 5, Hayden is 2 and Kolton, the newby. We keep trying to convince them that the cold, snow, and high taxes of Utah is the better place to live but somehow they remain unconvinced. We still find dried cockroach carcasses in stuff from our Texas past, and at least we can grow something besides okra, so Utah can't be all bad.

Kolton was born on July 8, 2008. He came into the world full grown and ready to play sports and ride bikes with his big brothers. If history repeats itself, the bike riding won't take long. Hayden learned to ride last Spring at the ripe old age of 2 1/2--much too young to keep his brain intact on a two wheeler!

Dylan is everyone's best friend and loves to have his picture taken.
Mattie is the miracle dog that ran away. She was found from a sign posted at the side of the road after a full year absence. In no time she was back to her old tricks and they knew it had to be her.

The Bottomless Pits--Before and After

Radar (right) joined us on Dec. 26, 2007 after a cold snowy drive to Nebraska where he was born. Either I had forgotten how labor intensive puppies are, or this one rose to the top of the heap by his own merit. He fits perfectly the vision I have for him to compete in agility. He is bursting with energy, has no fear, and loves a challenge.

Rusty, the resident old dog, and Radar really are the best of buddies, but poor Rusty sure gets the raw end of the deal. He used to be the one in charge--back in the days before his ears got chewed off (the hair, that is).

Radar grew and grew, and is now a giant among Papillons .
