Just like Alaska

This morning we arose early to prepare for our drive to SLC to work at The Spoken Word, leaving ourselves only as much time as it takes for a quick shower and the 35 minute drive. We had to be there on time since we were giving the prayer meeting prayer and spiritual thought. Much to our surprise, this is what we got to drive in. Oh, that poor beautiful tree! What a difference a day can make.

I was so worried about how Radar would handle the snow this winter, since his house training skills are already a little iffy at best, but we couldn't get him to come back in. He was so excited to be running back and forth across the yard in the snow.

And now you're jealous you're not here because we have no snow right now. After 8-10 inches, it rained all night Thursday and the snow disappeared. It snow/rained off and on all day today, so there is a lot of slippery slush out there (which was no fun to drive in for church).

I wouldn't say I'm jealous. We had about 7-8 inches yesterday, but it is now almost gone and is aupposed to get back close to the 70's by the end of the week. It just had to wipe out all the tomatoes, green peppers and squash just to keep us humble.
