1. Where did you first meet your husband? We had both graduated from USU in 1975 and were living in the same apartment complex in Logan. He always stood on our front porch to play frisby. My roommate, Karen, invited him in to play cards. We didn't like each other.

2. What was the first thing you said to your husband? I don't know--whatever you say to someone when you are playing Pinochle. He thought I was stupid because I didn't know how to play, and I thought he was arrogant and rude.

3. Where was your first date? Festival of the American West in Logan. We also went on walks together--maybe a few before the date, if they count as a date.

4. Where was your first kiss? In his apartment.

5. Did you have a long or short engagement/courtship? Our first date was in July 1975 and we were married in December 1975. Much too short.

6. Where did you get engaged? In the break room at Block's where I was working. That sounds soooo unromantic. We had discussed it before that, though, so it wasn't a big surprise.

7. Where did you get married? In my apartment.

8. How did the reception go? It was in my apartment and my roommates planned it. It was on the snowiest day of the year and many of the roads were closed. Not many people came. See Erin, you thought your Kline reception was bad-------!!
